Transportation Airport-Hotel-Airport
There are many options to reach the hotel from the Cancun International airport (15 to 20 min). After pick-up of your luggage or before exiting the airport you will find several taxi services. Typical prices at the airport are from $20 to $60 USD to the Ocean Coral and Turquesa Hotel.
Use ONLY authorized taxi services; do not accept services offered by individuals. Service is offered for all flights, no matter the arrival time. Buy the transportation tickets only in the authorized counters.
TRANSPORT RECOMMENDATION. We have negotiated with TRAFIC TOURS an excellent price for the round trip airport-hotel-airport. It will cost only $15 USD per person. It is a safe and comfortable service. The office is situated in the Ocean Coral and Turquesa Hotel. Please send an email to concesionot@trafictours.com addressed to Antonio Herrero/Mario Pirez indicating in the subject "II-VI-2011 Conference – OCT Hotel - airport-hotel-airport transfer" indicating in the body the names of the passengers, airline and arrival and departure dates and times. In case of very close arrivals they will organize groups of the conference attendants.
MEXICO CITY AIRPORT
Mexico City is very interesting and plenty of touristic attractions. However, the city is very large and during rush hours it can take time to move between not very distant places. If you have a stop in Mexico City international airport (MEX, Benito Juárez) and have few hours of waiting time you have to be careful if you are tempted to go out of the airport (located within the city), it can be risky, you can be trapped in the heavy traffic. We recommend planning at least one full day to visit Mexico City.
WEATHER
During summer the average low-high temperatures in Puerto Morelos are 25 – 32 C (77 – 90 F). Some rain can be expected; however, the rain can last from few minutes to a couple of hours and then back to sunny weather. It is important to use sun protection. After sunset, mosquito repellent will be useful for people with sensitive skin. 10 days weather forecast.

$10 USD per person, per night for Ocean View Junior Suite*
$30 USD per person, per night for the Privilege service
$45 USD per person, per night for the Privilege service and upgrade Privilege Junior Room
$75 USD per person, per night for the Privilege service and upgrade Master Suite
$95 USD per person, per night for the Privilege service and upgrade Royal Master Suite
*Many rooms have ocean view, however, if you wish to ensure that your room will have ocean view, you can pay this upgrade.
All SPA services will offer a 30% discount to all the Conference attendants.
ATM in USD
The hotel has in the lobby an ATM that dispenses US dollars and accepts major credit, debit and cash cards. Take into account the there will be a fee to use it and that the exchange rate may be a little bit higher that in regular banks.
