IMPORTANT GUIDELINES FOR SUBMITTING YOUR ABSTRACT
please read them carefully befor submitting your abstract

Abstracts will be accepted only if received by e-mail: ii-vi-2011@fis.cinvestav.mx

II-VI-2011 Abstract Template (MS Word)

General Please do not send multiple copies of the same message.
Please write in the subject: II-VI-2011 - abstract # - name of submitting author.
In case of submitting several abstracts "#" must be replaced by the corresponding number (e. g. abstract 1, abstract 2, etc.).
Please send each different abstract in a separate message.
Send in a zip file the original document and a pdf version of the same abstract.
Please verify that the pdf file has the correct symbols.
Please name the file of your abstract as follows: Surname_Name_# and the corresponding extension. Surname and name are those of the corresponding author, # is the abstract number.
You will receive a notification of abstract reception within five days after submission.
Author contact and type of presentation Near the bottom of the 1st page please include:
a) Author contact information, please only one e-mail address for contact. Hotmail addresses are not accepted
b) Topic and the preference for oral or poster presentation, the final decision will be made by the program committee.
Format Abstracts must be written in English using Microsoft Word. A pdf version of the same abstract must also be submitted together with the original file. Send both in a zipped file.
Maximum length: one page. One additional page including figures is allowed to help the referees but it will not be included in the abstract booklet. (These figures should not be cited in the abstract).
Abstract size: Text width of 16 cm and text height of 18 cm.
Paper size: please configure page for letter size (216 mm x 279 mm).
Font: Times New Roman. Title: 14 points, centered, bold. Authors: 12 points, centered, bold. Affiliation: 12 points, centered italics.
Do not write the word "abstract".
Body text single-spaced, 12 points. The presenting author must be underlined.
References in the text should be listed in square brackets.

Important: near the bottom of the abstract page, write the complete name, postal and e-mail address (only one, please) of the author for correspondence. See included file that you can use as a template.

The Proceedings of the Conference will be published in a
special issue of Physica Status Solidi (c).
ON-LINE manuscript submission is already open
Deadline for submission is September 16.

Considering authors requests, we have extended the deadline to October 14.

Maximum Length of manuscripts
Oral and Poster contributions: 4 journal pages
Invited talks: 6 journal pages
Papers must be written using the template, please do not exceed the page limit.

Following the recommendation of the referees and guest editors and upon approval by the PSS Editorial Board, some papers will be upgraded to Original Papers or Feature Articles in PSS (a) or PSS (b).

ON-LINE manuscript submission
All manuscripts must be submitted on-line.
You must register in the PSS website, enter the Author Center, submit your manuscript in "Author Resources" and select Conference: "II-VI - 2011".
